About this ranking

Recognition for the companies doing the hardest work in the industry.

The IPO 25 is an annual list of emerging BPOs making the transition to Intelligent Process Outsourcing. Not the 50 largest providers. The analyst firms have those covered. This list is for the segment doing the hardest work in the industry: independent BPOs under 5,000 people rebuilding their operating models while running the business at full speed.

Intelligent Process Outsourcing is a different deal than the one this industry was built on. The old model sold labor at a margin. The new one combines automation, human expertise, and accountability for outcomes. Clients now ask what's automated, what's monitored, and what happens when it fails. The companies on this list can answer.

Every company here earned its place through evidence: AI running in production client work, commercial models tied to results, operations redesigned rather than rebranded. We scored them on eight dimensions, weighted toward proof over claims. The methodology is published. Judgment is part of it, and we say so.

I spent more than 20 years leading marketing for some of the largest BPO brands in the world, then started Pivot AI Global to advise the companies coming up behind them. I built this list because the emerging segment deserves recognition it can't get from analysts who don't cover it. If your company is here, you earned it before anyone wrote it down.

The Pivot Path

The horizontal axis measures intelligence in production: AI deployment depth and the human-AI operating model, weighted as published. The vertical axis measures accountability: outcome-based commercial models and governance. The diagonal band is the path itself, where automation and accountability advance together. Every company here earned its place, so position is a prompt, not a verdict. For a company below the band, the question worth watching is whether governance and accountability keep pace as the automation scales. For one above it, the question is when the tooling catches up to the trust it has already built. The top right is the destination: Intelligent Process Outsourcing, fully realized.

Positions come from the same published Pivot Path methodology as the ranking, not from a separate exercise. Hollow rings mark companies where outcome accountability could not be scored from public evidence: we plot what we don't know rather than guessing. Next year's edition adds movement. Every returning company gets an arrow showing its path since this one.

The flagship list

The IPO 25

Ranked by weighted score across eight published dimensions. Every claim below traces to citable evidence.

01

InDebted

AI-native consumer collections, paid on outcomes

Collections is where outcome accountability stops being a slide and starts being the invoice. InDebted's machine learning engine decides when, how, and how often to engage each customer, and the company gets paid on what it recovers. Seventy percent of revenue now comes from the US market it entered by acquisition. Licensed, compliance-first, and digital end to end. This is what Intelligent Process Outsourcing looks like when it's built in rather than bolted on.

02

TrueAccord

The original code-driven collections operator

TrueAccord has been running code-driven collections since 2013, long before AI was a sales pitch. Its machine learning engine personalizes outreach across millions of consumer accounts, with automation handling compliance documentation underneath. The company navigated CFPB scrutiny by building for it from day one. Acquiring Sentry Credit in 2025 added traditional capacity to a digital core, not the other way around. A pioneer that kept its lead while the industry caught up to its vocabulary.

03

PartnerHero, a Crescendo company

Outcome-priced human + AI customer operations

Most BPOs sell hours and call it partnership. PartnerHero, under Crescendo, charges per resolution and backs it with a guarantee: outperform any AI alternative or don't pay. The Augmented AI platform handles deflection, QA, and agent assist while three thousand people handle what machines shouldn't. It is the clearest bet in the industry that outcomes, not seats, are the future of outsourcing. The market is watching whether it scales. So are we.

04

Horatio

Nearshore CX built for DTC brands, scaled the right way

Horatio built what every DTC brand wants from nearshore: teams that sound like the brand, an AI implementation practice with named partners in Ada and Loris, and growth that speaks for itself, including a 500-seat Honduras expansion in 2026. It also treats people like the product: ranked the top workplace in its sector in the Dominican Republic, with 441 internal promotions in a single year. Founder-led and compounding.

05

ContactPoint360

Third-party-verified AI QA and six years of GPTW

Plenty of BPOs claim AI-powered quality assurance. ContactPoint360 is one of the few with a third-party-verified deployment: Observe.AI auto-evaluating 100% of interactions, plus an in-house coaching tool that lifted agent performance twenty percent. Six straight years of Great Place to Work certification in Canada says the operating model holds up from the inside too. A founder-led challenger doing the unglamorous work of proving its claims.

06

Simply Contact

Production voice AI, aviation depth, wartime resilience

Simply Contact's AI voice assistant resolves its targeted inquiry types in under thirty seconds, and the company publishes the numbers. Built in Ukraine, headquartered in Warsaw, serving aviation clients like Wizz Air in more than thirty languages, it kept service running through a war. Resilience is not a slogan here, it is an operating history. The 2025 CX and AI innovation awards confirmed what its clients already knew.

07

Prochant

Home-based care RCM with published AI outcomes

Prochant owns a niche most of the industry forgot: revenue cycle for home-based care, HME, and infusion providers. The AI embedded in its Pulse platform produced a 56% improvement in denials and a 25% improvement in DSO, and Prochant published those numbers rather than gesturing at them. A 4.4 employee rating across 579 reviews says the team building it is treated well. Five straight Inc. 5000 years. Quiet, specific, durable.

08

Provana

The compliance backbone of collections operations

Collections compliance is a category nobody covers, and Provana quietly owns it. Its IPACS platform and production speech analytics give credit and collections operators a compliance backbone a regulator can actually inspect. PE-backed and acquisitive, with an 83% employee recommend rating, it is the rare firm where the compliance product and the managed service reinforce each other. The buyers who need this know exactly why it's here.

09

Revecore

Six-time Best in KLAS complex claims specialist

Six-time Best in KLAS for complex claims is the kind of third-party validation most providers would frame in the lobby. Revecore added a named AI launch in April 2026: underpayment recovery and denial appeals with machine learning claim scoring underneath. Contingency economics mean it gets paid when hospitals do. An eight-time Best Places to Work in Kentucky employer serving 1,300 hospitals. Evidence first, claims second.

10

Hugo

Africa-first delivery with an impact engine

Hugo is building the case that Africa is the next great delivery geography, with clients like TikTok, Hilton, and Faire already convinced. GenAI operations and AI training work run alongside classic ecommerce support. The Hugo Academy has trained more than two thousand young people in underserved communities, two-thirds of placements women, and the company reports 98% agent retention. The Outsource Accelerator Impact Champion award in 2025 was earned, not bought.

11

SupportZebra

Documented GenAI in production at 600 people

A 600-person BPO with documented generative AI in production: real-time sentiment analysis and auto-summarization, written up by Zendesk rather than by its own marketing department. SOC 2 and PCI-DSS sit underneath its fintech tier-1 support. A 94% employee recommend rating. SupportZebra is what the emerging segment looks like at its best: too small for analyst coverage, specific enough to verify, and better documented than companies ten times its size.

12

Chatdesk

Built for Black Friday, paid per resolution

Chatdesk built its whole company around the worst week in retail. Its machine learning routing plus on-demand US experts cleared more than twenty thousand peak tickets for SAXX during Black Friday, priced per resolution, converting roughly one in ten service contacts into sales. Founder-led and venture-backed, it is the most peak-specific operator we found anywhere. If Q4 is your whole year, this is the model built for you.

13

Infinx

Gartner-named agentic prior authorization

Prior authorization is healthcare's most hated workflow, and Infinx attacked it with agentic AI credible enough to be named in Gartner's 2026 Market Guide for Intelligent Prior Authorization. The $96M acquisition of i3 Verticals' RCM unit added scale to match the technology. At roughly 4,900 employees it sits at the very top of our size band, and we expect it to graduate from emerging status soon. Catch it on this list while you can.

14

Chargebacks911

Bootstrapped global dispute management at scale

Monica Eaton built the largest independent dispute-management operation in the world, 2.4 billion transactions protected annually, without taking outside capital. The Fi911 arm serves issuers, completing both sides of the chargeback equation. Company-reported AI detection rates are strong, and as with any self-reported figure, third-party verification is the natural question for a buyer to ask, which we flag rather than gloss over. Bootstrapped scale in a regulated niche is rare. Founder-owned focus this durable is rarer.

15

Justt

Fully managed AI chargeback mitigation, success-fee priced

Justt does one thing: fully managed chargeback mitigation, paid on success. Its AI assembles tailored dispute evidence from more than five hundred data points, and the client does roughly nothing, which is the point. More than 250 enterprise merchants and tens of thousands of SMBs have signed on. Success-fee pricing means Justt eats its own risk. That is outcome accountability in its purest commercial form, and it is why a company founded in 2020 made this list.

16

January

Compliance-first digital collections

Collections built compliance-first, for lenders who cannot afford headlines. January's automated digital channels carry the volume while licensed human capacity handles what matters. Credit unions and fintech lenders trust it because the model was designed for examiners, not retrofitted for them. Still small, still founder-led, still underexposed relative to the quality of what it has built. Exactly the kind of company this list exists to surface.

17

EnableComp

Machine learning on healthcare's hardest claims

Complex claims are where hospital revenue goes to die: workers comp, motor vehicle, VA, out-of-state Medicaid. EnableComp's E360 platform applies machine learning and agentic AI across sixty million processed claims to pull payment out of categories most RCM shops will not touch. Welsh Carson backing, a 77% employee recommend rating, and two decades of doing the hard version of revenue cycle. Specialists win. This is what a specialist looks like.

18

SupportYourApp

Security-first support with a live AI voice agent

Security-first support for more than 250 tech clients including Calm and MacPaw, with a multilingual AI voice agent live in production for routine volume. PCI and ISO certifications underneath. A 4.5 employee rating across 871 reviews, with compensation rated just as highly, which is nearly unheard of in this industry. Kyiv-origin, globally distributed, and still founder-led. The kind of operator clients do not leave.

19

Etech Global Services

QEval AI quality assurance, 54M evaluations a year

Etech turned quality assurance into a product. QEval runs 54 million AI evaluations a year with real-time speech analytics, and ICMI named it Best New Technology in 2025. A 22-year-old Texas firm that built rather than bought its AI layer, still founder-run, grown without a single acquisition. The unfashionable path: own the technology, keep the company, prove it in production. It worked.

20

ClearSource

Production GenAI agent assist nobody has heard of yet

ClearSource runs GenAI agent assist in production across insurance, fintech, and home services from delivery centers on four continents, and almost nobody has heard of it. Founder-led since 2008, an 81% employee recommend rating, and real-time guidance tooling most mid-market competitors still have on a roadmap. Strong delivery, quiet brand. We suspect that gap will not last, and we would rather be early than polite.

21

Helpware

Proprietary AI QA across 400+ brands

Helpware's proprietary AI quality assurance scores every chat, email, and call across more than 400 brands, and its dedicated AI division does data work for clients building their own models. A 4.5 employee rating across 900 reviews backs the people side. Founder-led, 19 hubs in 11 countries, four distinct divisions. The structure is sprawling but the AI evidence is concrete, and concrete beats tidy.

22

FinTrU

Investment-bank-grade KYC with human-in-the-loop AI

FinTrU delivers investment-bank-grade KYC and compliance work with human-in-the-loop AI platforms, founded by a former Morgan Stanley executive who knew exactly what banks would and would not trust. £74M in revenue and a New York foothold for North American delivery. We note honestly: employee sentiment trails its external reputation, and we will be watching. The capability earned the spot. The culture question keeps it from ranking higher.

23

Med-Metrix

Health system co-owned revenue cycle at verified scale

Med-Metrix runs end-to-end revenue cycle at $298M in verified revenue with a model nobody else on this list has: health systems co-invest, so the client literally owns part of the outcome. AI denial-overturn prediction and automated appeals run in production. Three acquisitions in 2026 alone signal where this is headed. Near the top of our size band and moving fast. Watch this one graduate.

24

WOW24-7

G2's number one BPO, 250 people strong

A 250-person firm that G2's verified reviewers rated the number one BPO globally for six straight quarters, ahead of companies forty times its size. Multilingual delivery across the US, Europe, Southeast Asia, and Latin America, with 100% QA coverage and the review base to back its service quality. Proof that in the emerging segment, verified customer evidence beats headcount. The smallest company on this list, and it earned every spot it climbed.

25

Signature Performance

Federal healthcare administration, onshore and founder-built

Federal healthcare administration is a moat most BPOs cannot cross: VA and DoD work demands compliance depth that takes decades to build. Signature Performance built it, onshore in Omaha since 2004, with founder Allen Fredrickson now executive chairman, Great Place to Work certification, and nine Best Places to Work in Omaha wins. The AI story is earlier than others here, which is why it ranks where it does. The foundation is what the IPO transition gets built on.

Methodology

How we rank

The IPO 25 exists because the most interesting companies in outsourcing are invisible. The analyst firms cover the 50 largest providers. Everyone below that line competes without coverage, no matter how good the work is.

This ranking covers the emerging segment: independent BPOs under 5,000 staff making a real transition to Intelligent Process Outsourcing. That means AI running in production client work, commercial models tied to outcomes, and operations redesigned around the partnership between automation and people.

We score every company on eight dimensions: depth of AI deployment, outcome accountability, governance and failure readiness, how the workforce operates alongside AI, how the people doing the work are treated, vertical expertise, client proof, and clarity of positioning. The first two carry the most weight. A buyer in 2026 doesn't care how many agents you have. They care what's automated, what's monitored, and what happens when it fails.

Evidence comes from public sources first. Case studies, technology partnerships, certifications, hiring patterns, client references. Where public evidence is thin, we flag it rather than guess. No company can pay to be on this list. No company can pay to move up.

One thing we're direct about: judgment is part of the process. The scoring is structured and consistent, and the final calls are made by Andrew Kokes, who spent more than 20 years leading marketing across some of the largest BPO brands in the world, including driving the shift from labor arbitrage to AI-driven operating models. The ranking reflects that experience. We consider that a strength, not a disclaimer.

Future lists

We research independently. Placement is never for sale. If you run an emerging BPO with AI in production and results you can prove, tell us about it.

The segment lists

The IPO 25 scores the segment as a whole. The same eight dimensions run against single categories, one at a time, and the first of those is Trust & Safety outsourcing: the top independent providers, ranked. Fifty-two content moderation and trust and safety specialists were screened and ten scored high enough to publish. Five companies hold a place on both lists: PartnerHero, Horatio, Hugo, SupportZebra and SupportYourApp.

On editorial independence

The IPO 25 is researched and published by Pivot AI Global, which advises emerging BPOs on growth strategy. That overlap is the point: we cover this segment because we know it from the inside. It also demands honesty. No company can pay for placement or position. Companies with a current or former advisory relationship with Pivot AI Global are marked as such wherever they appear. Scores rest on public, citable evidence, and when the evidence is thin we say so rather than guess. The methodology is published in full. Disagree with a ranking?
