Privacy policy
What this site collects, where it goes, and the choices you have. Effective August 27, 2026.
The short version
I collect what I need to answer you, run the work you ask for, and understand how the site is used. I do not sell your information. I do not run advertising networks or ad tracking. When you want something corrected or deleted, you email me and I do it.
What I collect
Information you give me directly:
- Forms. When you request a Discoverability Baseline, nominate a company for a ranking, or contact us, you provide things like your name, work email, company, website, and a message.
- Booking a meeting. Scheduling runs on Microsoft Bookings. Microsoft collects your name, email, and the meeting details to put the time on both calendars.
- The site chat. Messages you type into the chat, and any contact details you share there.
- Email. Whatever you send when you write to us.
Information collected automatically:
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to measure visits: pages viewed, links clicked, approximate location from your IP address, device and browser type. This uses cookies (see below).
- Hosting and security logs. The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes IP addresses and request data to serve pages and block abuse.
Where it goes
I use a small set of service providers to run the business. Each one processes data on our behalf:
- HubSpot — our CRM. Form submissions and chat conversations are stored there so I can follow up.
- Google — Analytics measurement.
- Microsoft — email and meeting scheduling.
- Anthropic — the site chat is answered by Claude, Anthropic's AI model. Chat messages are sent to Anthropic's API to generate responses.
- Cloudflare — hosting, delivery, and security.
That is the list. No data brokers, no ad networks, no selling or renting of your information to anyone.
How I use it
- To respond to you and deliver work you ask for, including running a Discoverability Baseline on the website you submit.
- To schedule and hold meetings.
- To understand which pages and content are useful, so the site gets better.
- To keep the site secure and working.
Cookies
The site sets Google Analytics cookies (names starting with _ga) to distinguish visitors and sessions. There are no advertising cookies. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, and Google offers a browser add-on that opts you out of Analytics everywhere.
Keeping and deleting
I keep information as long as it is useful for the purpose it was collected for. Contact records stay in the CRM so a conversation can pick up where it left off. If you want your information corrected or deleted, email me and I will handle it — usually within a few business days.
Your choices
- Ask what information I hold about you.
- Ask me to correct it or delete it.
- Opt out of analytics with browser settings or the add-on above.
- Unsubscribe from any email with one reply.
For any of these, write to andrew.kokes@pivotaiglobal.com.
Other things worth knowing
- This site is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. I do not knowingly collect information from children.
- Pages on this site link to other companies, including sponsors. Their sites have their own privacy practices, which I do not control.
- Our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries.
Changes
When this policy changes, the new version goes up on this page with a new effective date. Material changes get a plain-language note at the top.
